Just Jane : A Daughter of England Caught in the Struggle of the American Revolution
I think that Just Jane, was a outstanding book. I myself enjoy historical fiction and a hint of romance, and this book was perfect. I couldn't even put it down. It was also very informational, and I learned a lot about the American Revolution that I hadn't known before. I really hope that everyone else that reads this book will really enjoy it that way that I did.
This book is about an english girl who immigrates from England to America, at the beginning of the American Revolution. She is an orphan, and hasn't a clue about what was going on in America before she came. So, she gets dropped into a whirlwind of emotions and events. Half of her family are Loyalists (on England's side) and the other half Rebels (on America's side). She meets many friends along the way and a couple of enemies too. While the country is divided in war, so is whats left of her family. But, Jane does her best to make everyone happy, or at least remotley. I highly recommend this book, for History lovers like myself. It has historical fiction, action, and a bit of romance thrown in. I hope you like it!
