The trio is back, and better than ever! Or& is it? This summer, only Jacqui and Mara are working as au pairs for the Perry family in the Hamptons. Eliza and her family are renting a place in the Hamptons themselves, and since their family financial status is steadier, Eliza decides she will work on improving her social status. She takes a job at Seventh Circle, where only the coolest of the cool can get in.

The trio turns into a sad duo until Jacqui and Mara meet the very French, very cute Philippe. Jacqui is instantly attracted to him, but she has sworn off boys with hopes of studying for her SATs and improving her chances of getting into New York University.

Mara, however, is trying to get back her ex boyfriend Ryan Perry until she sees him with another girl. Trying to make him jealous, she goes out with Garrett Reynolds and becomes the It Girl of the Hamptons. What she doesnt know, though, is Eliza and Ryan now have a history, too.

Cute, funny, and interesting, The Au Pairs: Skinny Dipping is sure to catch the eye of teens everywhere! Not used to more girly novels, I had read Melissa de la Cruzs series Blue Bloods, but this book definitely caught my attention with the quirky characters and the forever-coming drama.

I have to say, this is the only book out of the series of four that I would award 5 stars. Reason being, I truly felt this novel was heartfelt. It didn't seem slightly stretched like the next two do, and the accounts of Mara, Jacqui, and Eliza seem more real and of worth.

What I liked best are the characters. The book is divided into three types: chapters that focus around each of the three main au pairs. Thus, it was so nice to see each of the characters evolve and form nicely, and it was nice to see that they're not all perfect, but they're human. Mara was slightly easier to hate, but you really could relate to her and feel sympathy, while Eliza was so much easier to like. Jacqui was Jacqui, charming and beautiful.

I'd have to recommend this book over all the other three. It holds some real hot talent.

Our beloved au pairs are back for another summer in the smokin hot Hamptons. This summer, however, things are going to be a little different. Elizas not working with Jacqui and Mara anymore for the Perrys; instead, shes gotten herself a bad-paying but prestigious job at the hottest new nighclub, and Philippe, a sexy French guy, is the new au pair, one that Jacqui cant seem to keep her hands away from, despite her No Boys rule.

Mara broke up with Ryan because she feels like she doesnt deserve him, but seeing him with other girls still hurts. Luckily, theres Garrett Reynolds, who likes her because shes fun, which is what Mara decides to be in order to make Ryan jealous.

Little does she know that over winter break, Eliza hooked up with Ryan. Theyre not officially seeing each other, more like friends with benefits, seeing as how both are still stuck on different people: Ryan on Mara, and Eliza on Jeremy, her ex-boyfriend-slash-gardener-turned-businessman. But Jeremy seems distant, and her parents are acting like snobs because hes not in the same class as them.

With all the secrets and unspoken words going around, is it any wonder that these love triangles and friendships are poised to explode? SKINNY DIPPING keeps up the same rapid, fun pace that Melissa de la Cruz set in the first book of this addictive series.

The Au Pairs are back! Mara broke up with Ryan and desperately wants to get back together. Eliza has a secret... hooking up with Ryan over Palm Beach was not the best idea and she know it. Jaqui can keep her eyes off the new au pair, don't worry it's a boy.

Journey through the book observing all three friends hardships as they bicker, fight selfishly and end up in loads of trouble. Fresh, and full of laughter, you'll shudder with embarrassment as the characters mess up and you'll double over with laughter as they get caught in situations that have rather funny consequences. Best summer read but it has a lack of emotion that comes from problems deeper that friendship loss.

Mara, Jacqui, and Eliza are back to spend another summer in the Hamptons, but only Mara and Jacqui are back as au pairs for the Perrys. Eliza has taken a job at the Seven Circles Club thinking itll launch her back into the spotlight. So the Perrys have hired a new au pair, Phillipe. Since Mara dumped Ryan last summer, she hasnt stopped thinking about him, but shes gotten involved with Garrett, whos popular with the girls. Since getting with him, Mara has been in the newspapers and gotten lots of publicity, but the bad kind. Elizas boyfriend, Jeremy seems to be distancing himself from her and she finds comfort in Ryans arms. And Jacqui swore not to get involved with boys again until she met Phillipe. The girls get into more adventures, party harder, and fight a lot more. But they still stick together through the worst of their problems and cant wait to spend another summer at the Hamptons.

Skinny Dipping was just as good as The Au Pairs. The girls are really interesting and their lives are to die for. Melissa de la Cruz wrote another great book and I hope there will be another Au Pairs book on the way. This is one of the hottest books for this summer and Id recommend this to anyone.
