Here's to You, Rachel Robinson (Best Friends)Hot
A powerful sequel to JUST AS LONG AS WE'RE TOGETHER.
Rachel Robinson is a straight A student with the two best friends in the world. She likes to have her life in order but soon, the arrival of her older brother throws her life out of order.
Rachel deals with tensions between her family, a crush on her brother's tutor (who happens to be in college) and managing school.
Its a story anyone can relate to.
This was a really good book.
it reminded me of my life and really showed me how much a good friend means. I enjoyed reading it and my eyes were glued to the pages!!
There were great descriptions and fun chapters.
I would definately recomend this book to many other girls of all ages.
The book Here's To You Rachel Robinson is about a young girl named Rachel who is dissapointed to find out that her older brother Charles who she does not get along with at all is going to be coming home again after being kicked out of school once again. Rachel, through the book, needs to learn to get along with Charles, and appericiate the friendships that she has. I enjoyed the theme of this book, which I belive was you need to make adjustments sometimes, and when you do those around you will follow.
"Here's to You, Rachel Robinson" is the follow-up book to Judy Blume's "Just As Long As We're Together." This book deals primarily with Rachel as we get a peek into her family life. Rachel's bad-seed brother returns home only to terrorize the family. We see how each family member responds to Charles and how Rachel internalizes her feelings about her brother's return. The books also showcases Rachel's friendship with Allison and Steph and the ups and downs it goes through. I enjoyed this book and hope Blume decides to work with these characters for yet another book.
