GOSSIP GIRL took off like a rocket with teen girls, full of high school cliques, backstabbing, dating, lying, partying and more. Its followup, YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME, continues the trend, with the trendy New York high school characters making things more complicated and more sordid every step of the way.

At the core of the story is Blair, whose mother is getting married to man Blair cannot stand. Not only that, but he's bringing along his reggae-wannabe son, who is nearly Blair's age but not exactly in her social class. Blair's former best friend, Serena, is every photographer's dream - and every boy's dream as well. Blair's boyfriend is cheating on her with a freshman girl. Throughout it all, Blair wishes she was Audrey Hepburn and tries to get into college.

The buzz for this book series continues to grow, and so do the secondary characters. Thankfully, they get a little more fleshed out in this story. The mystery surrounding the identity of Gossip Girl, the chic chick online who always has inside information on the group, continues. She knows who's hot and who's not - and this book is certainly hot among teen readers.

This is the second book of the series. The guy i love the most in the series was Dan and when i watched the tv series, he sounded stupid in the books. I don't like how he writes poems for Serena, which sounds stupid and I have nothing against poems, but, c'mon it freaks her out! The first one was awesome but nah, this one is kinda, not there..

This is the second book in the Gossip Girl series.I really enjoyed the first book but the second book was awful,  what really put me over the edge was how pathetic Dan was around Serena. During all the Dan part i wanted to yell at him to man up and move on. This book was very dissappointing. It turned me off the whole series. Do not read this, it is bad. I do love the show though but this book was so bad I have up in the middle of it.

I love gossip girl. It is meant for a mature reader and has a plot line like no other (that I have read at least). I read this book with vigor and I am sure that any one else who attempts it, will do so as well.

It is aimed more towards girls, but it is okay for guys to read as well.

The issue of college is a big part of this book-as it is a big part of the characters' lives. Getting into the best college is the natural continuation of their already perfect lives. Also, the plot of the previous book directly leads into this one. You can't just read one Gossip Girl book!

This book is just as juicy as the first Gossip Girl book! I barely even have to recommend this-if you read the first book you are probably hooked already just like I am!

I definately love this book! A great sequel to the Gossip Girls. Like the first one, it descriptively describes the lives of the high-class rebel teenagers. I really like how everyone is not perfect like real life. It sucks for Blair and her problems, but her and Serena might become friends. I don't know, I haven't read the third one yet. But I am about to. For a good read, read the whole gossip girls series!

When so and so is with so and so, it gets pretty crazy for a person who doesn't live a life like that! But for these girls, they know about everything that has happened even before it hits the news! Blair's mother is getting married to a male which Blair thinks is, a little to, not her mother's type. Well who wouldn't when they've known each other for only 5 months? When it's time for the wedding, secrets are being revieled =o!

A Gossip Girl novel is like good gossip---you know you should resist, but you just can't help yourself.

I wanted to dislike this novel, to be able to discard the characters as cardboard figures rather than people, but instead I found that in the second book in this series, the characters, even Blair Waldorf, are becoming likeable, or at least understandable. This book seems more rooted in the characters emotional lifes, and I could actually see how events were triggering their actions.

And, well, I have to be honest. . . reading a Gossip Girl book is like picking up US Weekly or turning to Page Six. I know I could be do something better with my time but frankly. . . I wouldn't want to.
