The Demon's Surrender (The Demon's Lexicon #3)
I really enjoyed the interesting characters, the setting of a magickal Goblin Market within London, and the complexity of the story's relationships. That being said, the writing itself was quite droll. The exposition in the beginning was well done, reviewing necessary plot points and re-introducing characters from the previous books. However, the later descriptions of characters and settings throughout the book were bland and could have used some excitement to fit with the pace of the plot.
Sin is an interesting protagonist, and her complicated relationships with magicians, humans, and even demons makes this story worthwhile. I also loved the dynamics between the brothers, Nick and Alan, and their complex personalities and relationships with Sin.
I think that other readers will also come to love the characters throughout the series and as such will enjoy this latest installment. Fans of CITY OF BONES, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, and TWILIGHT would love the entire series!
