Don’t miss this final chapter in the breathtaking Shadow Falls series! Kylie’s epic journey is about to lead her exactly where she belongs.

When Kylie Galen entered Shadow Falls Camp, she left her old life behind forever and discovered a world more magical than she ever imagined. A place where you’re two best friends can be a witch and a vampire, and where love doesn’t happen the way you’d expect.

When Kylie’s most powerful enemy returns to destroy her once and for all, there’s only one way to stop him — to step into her full powers and make a stunning transformation that will amaze everyone around her. But her journey won’t be complete until she makes one final choice: which guy to love. Should she choose the werewolf who broke her heart but will give anything to win her back, or the half-fae who ran from their attraction before they had a chance? Everything she’s learned at Shadow Falls has been preparing her for this moment, when her fate will be revealed and her heart claimed forever.

I started this series when it came out, and I have followed it since, it is sad to know that my time with these characters has come to a close, but I am happy for them to get their ending.
C.C. Hunter doesn't disappoint. This gets right into the action and into the thick of things. Kylie has a lot of hard choices to make and it doesn't really ever give her a chance to rest and figure things out. After all, evil villians don't like to do that, they only make speeches to give you a chance to figure out how to beat them after all, lol.
Derek and Lucas are at the forefront, and as usual, I am so torn, but after the heartache in the last one, I don't know if that was actually closing his part or if its just leading to a more epic ending. They both have great things going for them and so sad to have to have one of their hearts shattered along with a piece of mine. But as the book went on, I knew the right choice for her, and totally agreed with it. It was the best possible ending to a love triangle like this, and I didn't know how Ms Hunter would do it, but she gave me the romantic HEA for them that I wanted.
As usual, the secondary characters are amazing. I love the bantering between Miranda and Della, and I am super excited to hear that Della will be the star in her very on spin off story. Holiday and Burnett are amazing too, and I love where she took them.
The rolling on the floor laughing humor is still in place, and there were several places that had me in stitches and my husband giving me that look and asking if the book needed to be taken away. Then I gave him my look and all was good.
The series ended beautifully, I feel like I got the resolution I wanted, I saw tremendous growth in Kylie. The romance was hot and tension filled.

Bottom Line: Great ending to awesome series.

Finishing a book is always bittersweet, and same goes for finishing a series, only the bitter and the sweet are both amplified by 1000. Following Kylie through her journey from starting off as just a normal high school student joining a camp all the way to where she is now, is just incredible. I'll miss Kylie, Miranda, Della, Derek, Lucas, and the rest of the gang. I don't think I've ever found a series I liked more with so many memorable characters. C. C. Hunter did a great job on the series, and I'll miss discovering Kylie Galen's new adventures. I almost wish there were another book in the series, but I think it's best it ended here.

Now for what everyone really wants to know: Derek or Lucas. Personally, I kept switching teams many times throughout the series. Lucas was always the hottie, who I'd like for myself but Derek was kind and wanted the best for her. Fortunately, choosing between these two (irresistible guys) wasn't the main issue like in some novels. Mostly, it still focuses on her finding answers and with them herself. But based on who she ends up with, half of the fans will be delighted and the others displeased. I am among the ones who can accept her decision. I understand her choice, though personally, I would have held everything they did wrong against them for a long time and just be single. But that's just me.
Good Points
Though I wasn't a fan of the series from day one, this captured my attention. It had everything a good supernatural read had: love triangle with two smoking guys, Derek (faerie)and Lucas (werewolf), strong and independent lead (Kylie) and a good plot. Fast forward four books and here we are now, at the end.

I was weary as to how Hunter would conclude the series but I can say without a doubt that it does not disappoint. So now that the Shadow Falls series is over, I will wait for whatever new book she releases. Hopefully soon.
