Its been a year since Stacey Brown had her terrifying nightmares about the death of her best friend Drea. Its been a year since Donovan was locked up for killing Veronica Leeman, and even longer since Maura was killed. So, Stacey doesnt understand why shes dreaming about dead people. Shes convinced her dreams are trying to tell her something, but shes not sure what.

Staceys attention span during class has been unusually short, and shes starting to skip class more and more. Her nightmares are getting creepier. It seems as if someone is always following her, and she keeps finding strange gifts left for her with mysterious messages. However, while most of the gifts warn of death, one of them is good. It is a crystal which is supposed to being good luck.

Stacey soon finds out that there is someone at the school named Jacob who has been dreaming about Staceys death. He transferred from his school in Colorado so that he could try to save her. Together, they try to find out who is after Stacey. It doesnt help that Stacey has feelings for Jacob, that she has boyfriend problems, and that a bunch of ghost groupies are practically stalking her.

In some ways, White is for Magic was better than its preceding story, but in other ways, it was worse. I think that the plot is this story was more exciting than the one in the first book because the dangerous events were happening to the main character, so it was easier to feel the sense of fear. However, some of the spells seemed to get repetitive, and the ideas seemed a bit unoriginal after reading the first book. However, I still think that White is for Magic was an amazing novel, and I recommend it for all magic book lovers like me.

The story contiues with Stacey and her best friends Drea, Amber and her new boyfriend, Chad.
Stacey is once again having dreams but instead of dreaming of Drea's death, she is dreaming of her own! To top it all off, there is a creepy kid who is obsessing over what happened last year, she is getting mysterious threatening letters that that prove her premonitions are true.
Also, there is a new student, Jacob, who wants to help her and also practices wicca. He too is having dreams and they also are about Stacey dying. It turns out that he had been having dreams about Stacey's death for nearly a year and upon reading last year's incident in the newspaper, Jacob dicides to move to Stacey's school so he can be near her and help her.
At the same time, Drea is flirting Chad. And Stacey and Jacob are having this unexplainable connection. Can she trust Jacob? Will they be able to solve yet another mystery before it is too late?? READ AND FIND OUT!!!

I like this series of books because of how interesting they are. Stacy is once again having nightmares and not only that but is also experiencing troubles with her boyfriend. To add to that there's a new boy named Jacob who seems to have the same gift as she does and she feels attracted to him. A great book that keeps you guessing and suspecting different people throughout the whole book.

How could Drea flirt with Chad like that when he was with Stacy?! Some friend. I guess its ok though cuz i think i like Jacob better. He and Stacy are ment for eachother! Then when she ended up with that guy who killed Maura, I would not have had the courage that Stacy had when she delt with him. Then the freaks that were obsessed with Veronica and her "revenge", I wanted to punch those geeks. Stacy has a lot of courage though, she deals with things in a way that makes others want to be like her. without the murderous premenitions.

I read the previous book, Blue is for Nightmares and I just had to find the others! White is for Magic is a really good book because it has everything in it. The supernatural, love, suspense, mystery, and friendship. Its jampacked with a lot of great themes. In this book, Stacy starts to have nightmares about old ghosts but can't figure out why. Jacob, a new student at her school has been dreaming about her death. They share a lot in common and end up falling in love. Together they solve the mystery. They series continues with Silver is for Secrets and Red is for Remembrance. I must warn you though, each book gets more and more powerful as the story progresses, so dont read it if you dont like tear-jerkers!

I thought this book was great, it seems to me that Ms. Stolarz's novel get even better if its possible as you read more and more of her books. I willbe truly sad when this series ends. I love how Stacy's nightmares never her leave her alone and this time someone is out to get her its total role reversal which is a good writer's technique and how she meets Jacob who has the same gift she does. I would definitly recomend this book as to the othe rbooks in the series!
