A Brown Bag Life
That's a lot of weight for one book to carry around, but new author Glenn Anderson does a fairly good job of keeping the story moving and the reader's interest. The prose is sometimes a little heavy, but wrestling fans especially will forgive this.
That's the group that this book is really for -- the detailed descriptions of the wrestling life (primarily from the point of view of the young coach) will definitely appeal to those who follow the sport. And I do mean sport -- this is sanctioned high school wrestling here, not large men with silly names in sparkling spandex (I know, I know, I'll get some hate mail for that one).
This book is, however, definitely intended for older readers. I recommend it primarily for 18+, though mature 16+ could enjoy it as well.
