The author did another fantastic job!
My son and I enjoyed reading about Violet and her family.

Like with Nick and the Brick Builder Challenge, Malia writes her characters with care for their special needs, as well as making them relatable to most (if not all) children, in some way.
I love that the author writes a huge diverse cast, even if the characters have a similar diagnosis, and I love it even more that she writes her characters with different needs.
Violet has OCD, which is vastly different that Nick who has autism. The author didn't leave it at compulsive actions either, which is appreciated as it is so much more.

I love how understanding the parents are in these books. They research and do what they can to help their children and never make them feel bad about the things they do. I picked up some tips to use around the house that I have already started to implement.

I enjoyed learning more about dinosaurs in this book! The author did amazing research and kept it fun & entertaining for kids and adults alike.

Can't wait for more books by Malia!

The illustrations were really fun and beautiful. I can't wait to see them in color!
