Undies, Please!

UNDIES, PLEASE! is a sweet board book about potty training. A young child sees their older sibling with cool undies and wants a pair. They see them using the potty and are very interested. Although they are excited to try, at first they have an accident - but no big deal, they just clean up and try later. Finally, success! They use the potty and then get some cool undies just like their sibling.

What I loved: This is an encouraging book about potty training told with very simple language and short phrases from the perspective of a child eager to learn. The story is cute with lots of family support from older sibling and father. It was great to see the father as the primary caretaker in the book, a rep important to see. The colorful illustrations bring the story to life and work well for toddlers who may be learning themselves.
