There truly is nothing more that can be said about the Twilight series. It has truly made an impact on the lives of teenage girls all over the world. Not since Dracula has an author come along and introduced a vampire character that intrigued readers and left them wanting more. I would recommend this to every teenage girl that wants to fall in love with a gorgeous vampire!

Ok, I liked this book. It was sweet, funny, and promising. Bella moves to a wet little town in Washington State and falls in love with a handsome vampire. Edward Cullen will probably become the next Mr. Darcy in two hundred years or so. What I loved the action and romance in this book. I also loved that Edward cared so much about Bella that he wouldn't turn her into a vampire. I really wish that I could go back in time and stop myself from reading the next three books, which progressively get worse. The end of Twilight was perfect and sometimes those books that have an ambiguous ending are great because they keep the reader dreaming long after the book has been closed. If you are a new reader please read this book and be satisfied enough not to read the others. I only pray that they wont make movies of the others as well.

This book is very good. at the beginning of the story it is a little slow, but then it picks up and you can not put it down.

This story follows Bella in her journey to live in a new town, and to be new to school; she finds love in that of Edward Cullen, a vampire. will she risk her life for her one true love?

Where to start? The book is in first person, something I'm not usually keen on, so I was skeptical to start it at first, but since everybody had been talking about how wonderful it was I decided to give it a try. I only wish I'd picked it up sooner.
Without giving too much away, the story centers around 17 year old Bella Swan, a regular girl with a regular life. But not for long...
She moves away to live with her Father in Forks, and there she meets the boy of her dreams. Except thats really what he should be..a dream.
Edward Cullen is no ordinary guy, he is a vampire. With a twist.
That is where I'll stop with plot lines because too much of the plot will give away this books ending and the other books plots.
All I can say is that it is an amazing book and I've only not given it five *'s because sometimes Meyers writing style can be a bit off.

I loved this book. Very engaging and grabs you from the start. Well written, and you just fall in love with the characters. You can't put it down once you start. Very good!!! About a girl who falls in love with a vampire and how her life is turned upside down by the challenges this creates.

I was skeptical when I borrowed Twilight from my friend but was quickly grabbed by the fast pace in which the story flows. Bella is a teenager gone to live with her father in Forks, Washington where the rain brings everything to life. Bella is used to Phoenix's warmth and contemplates returning. She makes friends fairly quickly but can't help wonder about the strange, beautiful boy in her science class, Edward Cullen. Little does she know that he and his family will change her life forever.

Soon both Bella and Edward collide into a love they both know cannot end soundly, but are in too deep to end it. I cannot say much more without giving anything away, but it's a suspenseful book with bite. Plus it's the only romance book I've read that I've loved.

Don't forget to check out the next two books that follow it once you're finished!

Ok, based on the little guide I see on the right, gere goes my summary:
The book is about a young girl named Isabella Swan who moves away from where she lives with her mother, in Phoenix, and goes all the way north into a little town called Forks, Washington state. In the town she moves back in with her father (parents divorced) and immediately starts school. She meets unlikely friends and starts a very dangerous romance with a "boy" named Edward Cullen, a vampire, one of six living on the outskirts of the town. Isabella soon realizes the risk her love poses and soon gets into more trouble she never expects.
Overall, the book was a refreshing change from all the dry collegiate articles I'm forced to analyze. My niece (a freshman in high school) chose "Twilight" to be her next assignment for an English class. I picked it up with the intent to glance through, and quickly found I could not put it down. It was the setting of the story that captivated me and the character of Bella. I was in Washington state a few years ago, in a small town where no one but my older brother knew my name. I day-dreamed about events much like what was in the book, but I never imagined the details of each physical movement. The author makes a great believer of myths out of me, and I haven't appreciated that in a long time.

Stephenie Meyer's Twilight is a fast-paced energetic novel. It immediately draws you into the fascinating life of Bella Swann and the quaint town of Forks. Not to mention, the beautiful Cullen family. Her writing is descriptive and filled with life. The story, although, it seems like a fantasy is unordinarily realistic. From the moment you open to the first page you will not see the time fly by as you read the book. A sure choice.

i wasn't sure what to expect when i first saw this book. but after i started reading it, i couldn't put it down. after i read it(in one day might i add) i couldn't believe that it was over. there were so many questions that i still had. like does alice's vision come true. does bella become a vampire. and i wanted to know more about why billy is so uptight about the edward and bella thing. i really hope that there will be a next one.

Twilight is one of those novels that don't assume any one thing. Suspense, romance, humour, fantasy: all of these things and more take their part in this novel. Isabella Swan's sudden move to Forks from her home in Phoenix with her mother is an event that both the mortal and immortal find alluring; her estranged father is still trying to get used to his daughter's presence, her schoolmates are still trying to befriend her and a classmate named Edward takes her proximity very harshly. Bella is intrigued by Edward's coal black eyes and his tense expression whenever he looks at her. As she gets closer to Edward and digs deeper into things, she finds answers and discoveries that one would never expect from the small, dim, cloud-filled town of Forks.

The writing style, the flow of the exquisite turn of events and the beauty and innocence of the growing love between many of the characters are all the more reasons to read this masterpiece of a book. I absolutely adored this book and I strongly suggest this to every girl everywhere who has been looking for an excellent, if not perfect, story to warm the heart.
