Hmm.. This book was weird. I have to say that I was ridiculously excited for this book to come out. I absolutely loved the Harry Potter series and loved the writing style of J.K. Rowling so I thought this book would be just as amazing. Well, to me it kinda felt like a sell out book. As if J.K. Rowling felt obligated to write something else and this is what she came up with. As I kept reading the book it made me feel more ridiculous that I was reading a book that I'm guessing was meant for 5 year olds. And that is why I gave it three stars. Because although I disliked this book enough for it to earn 1 star I realized that I wasn't exactly in the target age group. The stories were nice but completely unfulfilling and when I finished the book I was so disappointed that there wasn't some clue or hint of something having to do with the deathly hallows. This book made me miss the Harry Potter Series all the more and I don't recommend for anyone over the age of 10.

In this easy read filled with short fairy tales that exist in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, fans of the series will find themselves enjoying these simple tales which bring back the magic that has been missed since the Harry Potter series ended. Each tale itself has a different theme and moral to it, much like the common fairy tales that every child has grown up with today.

Sure to bring a smile to reader's faces as they learn what the characters of the series learned as they grew up, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" brings everyone back into the marvelous world of Harry Potter, if only for a few tales. Something that all Harry Potter book and movie fans must read, this book, though simplistic and an easy read, draws back out the children in us as readers relate back to the stories they themselves were told as children.

The perfect book for all ages and all times of the year, "Tales of Beedle the Bard" is doused with the right amount of magic and morals to make readers once more believe in Hogwarts.

The worst thing about this book is the length. Simply put, it isn't long enough! The five tales offer more insights into the wizarding world, but the best part of the book is the commentary by Dumbledore. The commentary is witty, with fun footnotes by both Rowling and Dumbledore. Additionally, all of the proceeds from the sale of the book go to charity. What's not to love?

The Tales of Beetle the Bard has 6 tales written by wizards and witches through the ages. It included a commentary from Albus Dumbledore. And was translated from the Anciet Runes by Hermione Granger.

I liked this book. It wasnt much of a page turner, but I still liked it. Tale of Three Brothers played a HUGE role in the last Harry Potter book, so anyone who read the series should read The Tales of Beetle the Bard. I liked how J.K. Rowling added a commentary, it was fun to read what Albus Dumbledore thought of the stories.

Watch for this book in a store near you!
