I liked this book a lot. It had morals. It taught me how different choices influence everything that happens in the future. It also taught that your choices can influence everything and everyone around you. I enjoyed the way that the book was written also. It was written in such a way that I felt that I was there, that I was ponyboy. I felt the pain when Dally hit the flames out on Ponys back. I thought that the bond that all the boys shared was really special.

I read this book in Literature class in my school. The books we usually are assigned are pretty boring, but when i finished this book, i was in awe. this book deals with gangs, smoking, friendships, family, death, love, and most important: staying true to yourself. I recommend this book to both boys and girls.

The Outsiders has got to be one of the best Young Adult reads out there. My favorite part even though I hated the fact that Johnny died i loved the part when he said "Stay Gold Ponyboy"

It is about a group of boys that are in a gang. They are called the greasers. They fight another gang and kill a person. The cops are looking for them, so they go out in the middle of no where. There is a fire at an old chirch and this kid named Johnny goes in and saves the kids, but something burning falls on him.

This book is amazing. You got to read it. It is good, and sad. It think that anyone who reads it would like it. This book is really not like any other book.

A book that most girls would not even think about reading. But, I feel in love with it. A story that is all to real and true. It's about friends who are more like family that live on the wrong side of the tracks.

There's Ponyboy, Sodapop, Darry, Dallas, Johnny, and there other friends make up the "Greasers" a gang that is in constant battle with the "Socs", another gang. When Johnny kills a Soc, Ponyboy and Johnny have to hide. But, when Johnny dies, Dallas decides to fight.

This book made me cry three times in a 78 page span, a feat that hasn't happened before. A book that girls should read even though it seems to be for guys.

This was just to be simply put: amazing. I didn't read it for it's thematics, but more for fun, because we read it in the 7th grade, but I can still remember so much because it has stayed with me for so long. And the book truly made me question how I treat people and if I treat them appropriately or ostracize them.

Best of all, this book will make you think, and that's what I love about a good book.

Read it, you will gain so many memories and experiences from Pony Boy and the gang that will never leave you.

It's hard to believe that this book was originally started when S E Hinton was only 15. This book is written with the maturity of a much older author. It confronts topics such as stereotype and judgements. It really shows you how people judge others by their labels. This book makes you think, evaluate every detail and conclude what you would do in the situation.

It's a very real story that shows you how bad life can get and somehow it is very much true. The characters have vivid personalities that make you laugh and cry with sympathy. The part about the poem is especially deep and touches a soft spot in your heart.

I love this book so much that I took it from my brother, and have read it at LEAST 9 times.

In this gripping novel you read from Ponyboy's point of view and learn what it is like to be a Greaser. Those hooligans your mom always tell you to not hang out with, but if you are a girl, you can't wait to see their harley. (or something like that :P) Ponyboy has to deal with death, hate, love, and loss all in this short book.
This stroy really taught me not to be so quick to judge people, and that people are different no matter what their backround is.
