I was really excited to read this book. The premise sounded unique and I was looking for something different to read. While I had my problems with the book, I did enjoy it, especially more towards the end. I did have a few issues with this book, but overall it was worth the read.

What I liked:
* I love how Joe is a tomboy, can do things for herself, doesn't take crap from anybody, and stands up for herself and her friends.
* Tiffany. I love how she's not your average rich girl stuck on herself. What a wonderful friendship Tiffany and Joe have!
* Tristan. I love an old fashioned boy, so I absolutely adored Tristan! Not that he didn't frustrate me at moments, but overall, definitely the kind of boy I would dig!
* The Lost Boys. Seriously, I want my own group of awesome guys to play in a band with and protect me. Please?
* Vigil and Sky. I really enjoyed Joe's interactions with these two characters, I did feel there was quite a bit missing on their backgrounds, but overall really enjoyed their scenes.

What left me wanting more:
* Honestly the book was too long. I felt like I was reading about 4 different books at one point. However, Lillian brought it all back by the end.
* Why was Joe attracted to practically all the Lost Boys? I was a bit frustrated with that.
* I really felt like the story skipped around a lot, and honestly some of it didn't flow like I was thinking it was, so I was confused a bit, but once again, it all makes sense in the end.
* More Harry. I need a story just about Harry. Please.
* Joe's mom. I get that she was open to new things and accepted the supernatural of it all, but really was she okay with Joe sharing a room with 2 boys at a boarding school, hours away from her? Honestly. I felt like Joe's mom was a bit too uncaring about certain things.
* It felt like too many boys fell in love with Joe. I mean, seriously....

If you're looking for something different, this book might be a great read for you. But, be prepared, it is rather lengthy.
