I wasn't sure what to expect with The Library of Lost Things, but I know I didn't anticipate a book to hit home so much. It's a beautiful, emotional story with very real characters dealing with grief and mental health. The more I read, the more I felt connected to Darcy. On a personal level, there were a lot of similarities between her and me.
Besides the emotional draw I had to the book, it is also just very well written. It has the fluffy, adorable romance I love in YA. It has a strong message about family and friendship as well. The characters were fun, and I loved seeing Darcy and Asher open up with one another.
I absolutely recommend this book!
