From the title, this book intrigued me. The concept is unique, with a mixture of Greek myths, such as Arachne, Goose Girl, Princess, and Pea. Manning wove together a perfect story that was satisfying yet held many surprises. I especially enjoyed all the wordplay involved since the main character could only lie. The characters were well-developed. Each essential character had a backstory that helped explain their current motives. Even the villain was interesting. There are a few characters that I would love to see more of, like Evie and the Blood Princess. They seem like they have fascinating stories of their own.
Audiobook Review: The story was so easy to listen to; each chapter unfolded and kept me engrossed to know what would happen next. It is the mark of a great narrator when you don't want to stop listening to the story and can easily pick it up and fall back into the story without getting confused or forgetting where you were in the story.
