This is one of those series where you just want it to end. Where it didn't really need to be a series.

Things could have been hashed out in the first book, all questions answered fairly quickly. Done.

But, alas, that was not the fate for our Maze boys...and that one irritating girl.

I loved The Maze Runner. It was new and exciting and Minho was BOSS.

The second book was a train wreck. (I don’t even remember the name). It took me at least 6 months to read it because it was so. Incredibly. Boring. I skimmed most of it. (The movie was 200 times better, definitely recommend).

And I put off reading this one for as long as possible.

But now I wish I hadn’t because
1). I don’t remember much of what happened.
2). It was actually better!

So there’s a lot of Thomas and he doesn’t take quite as many naps in this one as he does the others.
Minho. Just brilliant. So good.
Old faces are back! (from the first one. I’m honestly pretending the second book never existed).
I love Janson and I can’t explain why. (maybe it’s because he was played by Littlefinger in the movie and I’ve got a soft spot for him).
Not much Teresa. So there’s a plus.
Brenda and Jorge!
Newt. I don’t even wanna talk about it.

This was a good book. Not great. Not as good as the first, but it was a nice ending.
