I read this book in 8th grade and was entertained while reading this book, but it isn't anything to rave about. It's a fun read, but not very thought-provoking.
The book is about Clair, who is in the 7th grade, and how she deals with popular girls at her school.
If you're a girly girl in middle school, then this might be the book for you, however, if you're looking for something deeper, look somewhere else.

OMG I HEART THIS BOOK. This book/ series are the bomb it is a book about a group of mean girls at the top of their all girl school OCD. when the new girl Claire comes they will do almost anything to put her down. I can nhot tell u how much i love this book. it is writen so well just like u would talk Mrs. Harrison i wove u

I read The Clique last year and it was horrible! It was sooooooo unrealistic and as shallow as a rain puddle. The book was about four prissy,rich girls being mean to people who they thought were uncool and unfashionable. Do not read this book,unless you actually like books about snobs who are popular for the wrong reasons. The whole time I was reading it,I wanted to throw up. Okay people,I warned you!

If you have not read the clique, then you're crazy. Although it is about spoiled girls from Westchester, even though Westchester is the best, it has detailed plots and cliffhangers at the end of almost every chapter. This book is a must read, so read it.

The Clique is the story of rich, prissy middle schoolers.
I opened the book excited, hoping to find a close counter part to the awesome Gossip Girl series. I soon relized I was severly mistaken. I could barely get through the first chapter of this book.
First of all the characters are about 12 years old and they act like their 20. Everyone was ungodly spoiled. All anyone did was whine about not having the latest $20,000 dollar watch or something equally outrageous.
If you want to read about a bunch of rich spoiled brats whining about what they dont have then check this out, but remember I warned you.
