This is a heartfelt story told with the kind of voice that makes you think you are sitting in the room with the MC. As the story unfolds your are pulled into Sam's world. A world where it is just him and his dad. There are hints of a deep struggle but because Sam, naturally, keeps a whole lot hidden you get to know the funny kid just being himself, hanging out with his friends. Soon you see that there is far more to his story as you watch him sinking further and further in a direction he doesn't want to go. You will find yourself laughing, crying and sometimes saying, "Sam! What are you thinking!" Believable and powerful right to the last page.
Good Points
Sam will step off the page and into your heart even when he is making poor choices. You want him to do better and be better because you care about him.
