Poopsie is your typical house cat that loves to nap and lick herself all day. But when the narrator talks her into leaving the house, she finds herself on a daring and dangerous adventure full of snakes, crocodiles, and tigers. Which is not at all what she bargained for. Poopsie has to find her inner strength to get herself home, even though the narrator wants her to continue her adventure. But Poopsie won't hear a word since the narrator leads her from one disaster into another.

POOPSIE GETS LOST reads like a narration where the reader is telling Poopsie what to do, which is very appealing to children. It's a hilarious story that had both my daughter and me laughing more than once. Even the adorable pictures bring the humor to life and I especially love how it ends because it leaves you with another laugh. We get to witness Poopsie's transformation from a boring house cat to a daring adventurer that conquers the jungle.

Final Verdict: According to my five-year-old, POOPSIE GETS LOST is a "super "silly book" so is perfect for children who like cats, adventure, and are looking for a good laugh. This is a book I had to immediately read again because my daughter enjoyed it so much she had to experience it twice.
