This book is excellent. Dana Davidson knows how to relate to us teens. These are some of the problems that we go through. Just how teens picture and do certain things. All i have to say is that she is one my favorite authors and make everything sound so REAL!

This book called Played was one of the best books i have ever read in my entire life. She really does know how to relate to us teens. I have had bunches of boys use me before. This relationship Im in now is kind of like this book. But my boyfriend doesn't use me though. Hopefully I'll read more of her books as my life goes on.

I think this book is really good because it tells how life really is and it tells how some people are and how they will treat you in life. I would reccomend this book to anyone who has the same problems and who likes a good book that will make you want to read more.

This story was heartwarming.  The "Pledge" that Ian faced to hook up with Kylie in 3 weeks when he normally would not have given her the time of day was hilarious.  The struggle within Ian as he got to know Kylie and realized that he was starting to like her,  but was embarrassed to be seen with her by his "friends" in the FBI was so real.  I felt for Kylie when the letter she wrote to Ian got passed around by the girls in his group was sooo mean, but unintentional by Ian.  The embarrassment she felt is so common among teens in school.  Dana Davidson did an amazing job writing this story and made it so real. I would recommend this book to any person of age 13 and up to read.

I really love how Davidson set up the story. It showed the point of view of mostly all the characters. I like how she incorporates the characters Jason and Kyra for a moment and relates their situation to Ian and Kylie's situation. I would have loved to see maybe more of the "FBI's" thoughts through out the book; more of who they are personally. But overall, I really loved the entire book and I read it all the time.

This book made me mad because the main guy character was just trying to get with the girl just to get into this stupid club. He did something so horrible to her that no guy should do.

This book was great even though i got mad because there aren't really enough books that are from a guy point of view, which this book does it gives a girl and guy point of view through the whole entire thing.

Ian Striker desperately wants to join the FBI, an ultrasecret group of the coolest, most popular guys in and out of Cross High School. To do so, he and the other recruits must complete some tests. For Ian, he has to make a random girl, Kylie Winship, agree to sleep with him within three weeks.

At first Ian thinks his test is a royal pain. Kylie isnt even that good-looking, and she was definitely not the kind of girl Ian wanted his friends to see him with. But as he grudgingly hangs out with Kylie in order to make her fall for him, he beginsmuch to his horrorto have feelings for her as well.

Kylie knows very well the type of player Ian has always been. But every time they kiss and every time he looks into her eyes, she is pretty sure she sees something in him, an emotion thats pure and real.

What will become of the two young people when Ians task is revealed and Kylie is humiliated?
Once again Dana Davidson writes an easy-to-read, easy to relate to novel about young people nowadays. She is without a doubt one of the most accessible African American writers for young adults, and her books should not be missed especially by romantics!

OMG...
Started reading it yesterday and I thought, let me just read the first couple of chapters and see how it is (I'm not really the reading type)
THEN...next thing I knew, I had read 12 chapters already...I managed to resist myself to save some for today...
So, I carried on reading today...and it is AMAZING...the characters, the descriptions, the storyline, everything is truely amazing...

I just wish there was a second part so we could know how Kylie's decision ended up and what happened
