The book is self-contained, with 10 animals children can make along with information and cool facts about each. It includes an orangutan, tortoise, bear, elephant, and more. Children can create their own menagerie on the go!

What I loved: I absolutely loved that this book is self-contained - no scissors, tape, or any other supplies needed. The animals come together by the type of folds plus the tabs attached to them. This makes it great for bringing along on trips, as children can do this anywhere with only the book required! The cardstock is high quality, and it was well-perforated. The animals came out easily, and the folds were crafted in such a way that it was easy to fold along the lines. Instructions tell how to put them together in steps. Each animal is labeled in terms of its difficulty to put together, and these seemed generally accurate (though some of the medium difficulty felt harder than some of the complex animals for us!).

The book also includes facts about each animal children are folding together - my spouse and I learned some new things along the way as well! The breadth of animals and the information make this more than just a craft/activity book and turn it into a fun, educational experience. While the recommended age is 7 years and older, younger children could do some of these with a bit of help from caregivers.
