Nicky's Nocturnal Octopus

Nicky's chore is to take care of the fish in his dad's salt water aquraium. He knows the names of all the fish, but he has a special favorite one, because he's so different that the rest of the fish.

One night when he's trying to sleep Nicky hears strange noises coming from the living room and when he goes to see what's going on, he couldn't believe his eyes because the octopus came to life and was sitting on the couch watching t.v. and eating chips and drinking coke.  Nicky was excited that the octopus came to life, but the octopus told him he couldn't tell anyone, it was their secret and the reason he came to life was because Nicky loved him and took such good care of him. 

There are also educational facts about octopus at the end, and silly facts too, so learn the names of the fish in the book and learn about octopuses.

This book is very easy to read. I liked it a lot and anyone that likes rhyming books or fish would like it.

I like octopuses and I got this book for my birthday. It was easy for me to read. this was a good book because it had a funny story about an octopus coming to life and watiching tv eating chips and drinking coke. The pictures were really good and I didn't know that an octopus could squeeze through a hole the size of a dime. Thats just amazing!
