This was such a fun book to read with my nine year old! We loved how the Infinity Rainbow Club is a group of kids who felt different and got together to be different together.

The author does a wonderful job of highlighting these kids' needs, and how Nick must overcome some of his adversities to enter/win the brick building competition.

There is so much representation! Whether it be culture, learning disability, age, etc., there is someone for everyone.
I loved that the authors gave the characters real child-like personalities. The kids acted like children, and even more so with their unique-ness. All the characters were relatable in one way, or another. Be it the colors sorted just right, or the awfulness of crunchy taco munching. The authors took great care when fleshing out every character.
I think my son really liked seeing some of his "quirks" in a book character.

I loved the attention to detail the author has. Everything was very descriptive, I could easily picture the brick builds, sensory, gym, and the like.
The added illustrations throughout the book were lovely, even in greyscale!

I'm really looking forward to more of these books!
