What I liked:
A culinary treat set in an alternate 1800's London, Two female Culinary who are in a college of the sort set out to take a young down on his luck Jewish man and give them tools of the trade to become a fine young gentleman who can achieve whatever he wants. We have two females who play their parts in this tale to a tea, one of mixed heritage that can understand Mr. Little's place in life far better than the privileged Helen. They each have their views on what should happen during this project. The tasty recipes will make you hungry as you take this journey with Mr. Little from a small one-room place to the grand palace to cook for royalty.
Final Verdict:
This light-heart read has some more profound meaning and can open your eyes to things you may overlook in those we encounter in life. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and I think anyone who likes historical fiction and having a twist added and like good cuisine as well will be in for a tasty treat with this novel.
