What I Liked: This sturdy board book will help your little one count to 10. The text rhymes and the monsters are in constant action making this an easy page-turner. It is a bit unique that the monsters have names, but it does help with the rhymes. The illustrations are colorful. They look a bit like chalk drawings which makes me want to go play outside and act out this book while using sidewalk chalk. Many counting books use familiar objects to help little ones identify objects or shapes. This book is a bit different because it uses parts of a monster like 4 wings or 8 legs which is fun and a bit different. Overall, this is a fun book in the preschool learning to count concept book genre. This would be a great read around Halloween time!
