I really liked this book and as the premise of it sounded very interesting I decided to give it a read. I'm glad I did. The book didn't end the way I expected it to which was good in a way and all the brothers had interesting personalities that made the book better.
Good Points
Interesting interaction between characters and an unexpected ending.

         Megan
Meade is tired of moving and when her parents announce they're going to move
again--to
South
Korea
-- who
could blame her for drawing the line. Megan is determined to stay in the States
for the rest of high school. Reluctantly, her parents agree... under one
condition. She'll go live with the McGowan
and the McGowans 7 sons. Who knew the sons would turn
out to be smokin' hot?!

         Not
Megan. But living with 7 gorgeous boys is not what it's cracked up to be and
seven boys attract a lot of drama. Jealous girlfriends, parties, and the Boston
Red Socks! Kate Brian has created a wonderfully written story telling a
teenager girl's crusade to finding how boys tick, surviving high school, and
trying not to get her heart broken in the process.

I just started reading the book yesterday and i am already finished it. when I first read the book i was thinking to myself " this is so not going to be good at all." but by me thinking that i totally was wrong about that book i mean this megan girl really likes evan McGowan. she thinks he is hot and a abocrombie god. but later on in the book she finds out that he is dating hailey the center forward on the schools soccer team.  how she finds this out is that evan was outside the school after practice was over and she thought that he was there for her but when she seen hailey run for him and kiss him her heart was ripped out of her chest. i found the book really amazing because a similar thing happen to me and i mean when i found out he was dating a girl on our flag football team my heart was like megans ripped out of my chest then stomped on. i later found out that he was ajerk anyway and that i like soon liked some one else in his family but still kinda liked him at the same time. High school these days are so hard and so stressful. no girl needs a guy like Evan McGowan or his brother Doug.

This was a great book.
It's about a girl, Megan Meade, who goes to live with her parents friends and their seven sons. Megan finds herself in a major challenge. She has to prove to everyone in the house that she can get along with them. The ending isn't really what i thought it would be, but it was still a good book. I recommend you read this book.

Just finished reading the book Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys by Kate Brian. Megan Meade is an Army brat who is used to moving to a new place at a moment's notice. She has been settled in Texas now for a few years and has a good life going. This is when her parents drop a bomb. . . they are being transferred to Korea! Megan is not about to move again and miss her whole high school soccer career. Instead, she opts to move to Massachusetts with old family friends. The only problem? They have seven boys! Megan decides to write a guide to the brothers ( and boys in general) based on her experiences. Will Megan survive living in a house of men? Or will she run screaming to Korea?

The book was easy to read and very entertaining! The story, for my taste, was a little high on the drama. But it was entertaining drama. I absolutely didn't want to put the book down, but I have to work sometime ! The pace moved along rapidly and I couldn't believe that all that drama took place in two weeks time! I was able to overlook it though and really root for Megan! Throughout most of the book, she gets a raw deal! But she learns to stand up for herself, which was really satisfying! I absolutely loved Megan's guide entries at the end of each chapter. Absolutely hilarious and right on the mark! The ending kind of disappointed me. It leaves you hanging a little! I am now hoping for a sequel to tie up some of the questions raised. Overall, it's a good example of chick lit done right!

Megan is an awkward girl. Pretty never the less. Megan's parents are moving for South Korea and she does not want to go. So she is sent to live with the McGowan's. The McGowan's are a family with 7 boys and no girls. Things in the house are tense when Megan first arrives and some member of the family are uncomfortable with her presence. The author takes you through Megan's lifewith her adjusting to living with all these knew people. Also how she deals with all the HAWT guys. I absolutely LOVED this book.
+ Megan is my name. hahah.

This Book is perfect for any age. This young girl (Megan) who's been practically everywhere because of her father, decides to move in with a family friend, who just so happens to have 7 sons! They each have great qualities, and I couldnt help but like all of them for differnt reasons, but by far my favorite was Finn. He's  good looking, caring, smart and an artist! I wish he really existed! I've read it several times, i strongly suggest anyone read this book. It has a little bit of everything.
