In this installment of the Little Rabbit series, Little Rabbit is off to school for the first time. He takes his toy, Charlie Horse, with him and away they go. Charlie Horse causes all kinds of problems for Little Rabbit all day long but Little Rabbit isn't ready to leave his friend behind. At the end of the story, he decides that Charlie Horse isn't ready for school and he is going to go back the next day without him.

I enjoy Little Rabbit stories so much. The illustrations are so adorable I could hang them on my walls. What a great gift this would be for a preschooler getting ready to go to the school for the first time. They will see that Little Rabbit is nervous but learns quickly that school is fun. I think I will add this one to my classroom library.
