Review Detail

Just a girl and her books
What I Liked:
Nancy loves reading more than anything, and eventually, it feeds into all parts of her life, and she becomes a librarian. This book is a beautiful picture book that is a tribute to readers and libraries. Every page is well-detailed and eye-catching and pulls you along on the story of a journey to becoming Nancy Pearl Librarian. I thought Nancy loved books. Not everyone shares that passion, and children can be rude, but if you have the power, you should hold on to it.
Final Verdict:
Vocabulary is well thought out and appropriate for children ages 7-9 who wonder about different types of jobs. Children will identify with Nancy as she is trying to find her place in the world and is learning how to deal with confronting adversity about her passions and how not everyone shares that. Library Girl was an incredibly eye-opening story.
