Eleven-year-old Thomas Hammond is in for the ride of his life when he's swept downstream and underground aboard a crumbling raft of Styrofoam. Washing up on a dark subterranean "beach," his only companions are an impulsive dog named Argus and a corpse, from which he takes a flashlight and an all-too-limited supply of batteries. What Tom finds under Leepike Ridge—a castaway, four graves, a tomb, and buried treasure—will answer questions he hadn't known to ask and change his life forever. Now, if he can only find his way home again. . . . An original mix of Robinson Crusoe, King Solomon's Mines, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and The Odyssey, N. D. Wilson's first book for young readers is a remarkable adventure, a journey though the dark of the grave and back out into the light.

Leepike Ridge is about a boy named Tom Hammond. His life turns upside down, when he falls into a river. The river pulled him down into an empty cave. Except there is just a dead body! When tom tries to escape he doesnt know there is a adventure ahead of him!

I loved the book! There was nothing I disliked about the book. I liked how it was filled with adventure. Like how Tom was trying to get out of the cave. That was the best part!

I recommend this book for people 9-13. It is also recommend this people who like a funny filled, adventure book!

who like a funny filled, adventure book!

Leepike Ridge Book Review

By Wyatt Morris

My book review on leepike ridge by N.D. Wilson. Some of the main charters are Reg; Tom; Nester; Argus: Elisabeth. Tom gets mad because his teacher asks his mom tom marry her and floats down stream and gets sucked under the ridge. Next treasure hunters trespass on Nesters property. Tom tries to find a way out, but Tom and Reg only have crawdads to eat.

I dislike it because its not real life events, I like nonfiction more. I like the book because it was written by N.D. Wilson, and I really like this author.

Finally I recommend this book to boys who are in 5th grade and older. It is a book of courage, adventure, and survival.

Lee-pike Ridge was a very good book it is about a boy named Tom who gets trapped in a cave and meets a man whose name is Reg. Reg has been in the cave for 3 years and Tom just got there. After Tom has been in the cave with Reg for a while Regs dog appears in the cave.

I like the book because you never know whats coming next Such as you didnt expect Tom to find Reg because no one knew Reg was there. I dislike the book because I couldnt finish the book in one day.

I recommend this book for ages 7-99. The reason I recommend this book for ages 7-99 is because there might be some difficult words to read and the reason I recommend for 99 year olds is because 100 year olds probably cant read.
