I think that the Fire within was a good book. I rate this a 4 because the story in the beginning is really good when Lucy Pennykettle's mother says that she has a dragon den which has multiple dragons.
I think my favorite character in the story is going to be Lucy Pennykettle's mother because since the beginning she said how she has a dragon's den, then it is amazing because i like dragons and that Lucy pointed out the clay dragon on top of the fireplace.

This was an adorable book. I wouldn't necessarily call it "Young Adult" material as I read it in the 4th grade, but it was a fun read. I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants a simple, fun read with adventure and thought-provoking images the entire journey.

I love this book. I just couldn't get enough of it and the rest of its series.
This book is about a guy called David Rain, a university student who is staying with two females called Liz and Lucy Pennykettle, a single mum and her daughter. But David had no idea how that one choice would completely change his life forever.
I love this book, it's a great book, with squirrels, cats and... dragons. Liz Pennykettle makes little clay dragons that David, at first, thinks nothing of, but soon realises that there is something very strange about them. This book is full of mystery, adventure and supernatural things.

I read this book last year, and I just fell in love with it. I had it from when I bought it a few years ago and was lying at the back of my book shelf. I read it and fell in love with it an its and its companions.
The Fire Within is about David Rain, a university student who needed lodgings. He moved in with Liz and Lucy Pennykettle, a single mum and her young daughter. Little did David know that moving in with the Pennykettles would change his life.
This book is full of mystery, adventure, dragons and squirrels, this book is a delightful read full of laughter. I sure did laugh at some parts and teared up in others, and I assure you will to.
