The Little Book of Joy: 365 Ways to Celebrate Every Day
Discover a different way to find happiness every day of the year with this pocket-size book that celebrates the little things that bring great joy. Be inspired by famous people on their birthdays; learn how to spot and find flowers throughout each season; create your own gratitude jar; learn how to make pastries; make a gift for someone you love; discover the pleasure of letter writing; and find joy in a rainy day. Packed with art activities, famous birthdays, inventions, international holidays, facts, and trivia about the world around us, each page offers a mindful prompt to encourage gratitude for things we have, every day.
The pictures are adorable and vibrant. I love how this book has something new on each page and gets children to also think outside of the box. The only downside is not all activates can be done for each child. For example, it doesn't snow where I live so my little girl can't go out and catch a snowflake. That day we'll have to think of something else. Other than that, I love the concept of this book and will do what I can with my little girl to get her learning new tasks and getting her more active.
Final Verdict: THE LITTLE BOOK OF JOY will make a perfect Christmas/New Years gift since it starts January 1st. I would recommend this to parents who are looking for new and exciting things to do with their children.
