PAINT BY STICKER KIDS: OUTER SPACE is another fun collection of paint-by-sticker images with an outer space theme. The book features 10 images on cardstock paper followed by 10 related sticker sheets. The stickers are numbered, so children can easily locate and stick each in the appropriate place to create the images. The creations include an astronaut, planets, and the moon as well as some glow-in-the-dark stickers for extra fun.

What I loved: Paint-by-sticker is a fantastic way to get young children involved in art. This is an easy and methodical project that children can do, while enhancing their learning of numbers and spatial cues. Children will fit each sticker into the appropriate box, while also searching for numbers, in a way that is fun and great for little ones who are learning numbers and beginning spatial reasoning. The end creations are art that truly looks very cool and is definitely fridge worthy- without any of the mess of painting or markers.

The edges of each page and sticker sheet are perforated, making them easy to remove. The clean nature of the stickers would make this great for on-the-go and a wide range of ages. The difficulty of the paint-by-stickers varies in terms of size and number of stickers per illustration. The moon is an easier one, while the sun is quite complex, with small and numerous stickers. I also appreciate that the stickers peel back up fairly easily (while they do not fall off on their own), so that perfectionists can easily get a second chance at lining up tricky stickers. The back of each sheet contains a couple of sentences about the object pictured for some extra information.

Final verdict: A great collection of paint-by-sticker artwork for space enthusiasts, this book is a great way to reinforce numbers, spatial reasoning, and create some cool artwork to boot! Children and adults can enjoy creating these fun images with varying difficulty.
