Castle Of Books
In Castle of Books, two children go on a creative journey to discover the answer to the question “Why do we need books?” As they pore over piles and piles of books and discover the incredible worlds and words within, they find lots of answers to this question: to observe, to discover, to imagine, to understand each other, and so much more.
I wasn't expecting a board book when I first saw this, but as soon as I realized that was what it was, it turned into a super cute book I'd read a 1-2 year old. It covers an important topic--books and why we need them. The author is extremely creative in the ways they found books were needed.
And the images... they're great. Truly great. The colorful pictures against stark white backgrounds made for a beautiful contrast that can keep a kids attention. And the cover... it's great.
Each page tells us a new purpose for books with illustrations that mostly fit the theme of that page.
A wonderful book to get young kids to enjoy reading with colorful pictures and a simple style that is sure to keep their attention.
