PAINT BY STICKER KIDS: CHRISTMAS is a fun activity book for elementary-aged children (and maybe older toddlers). The book features a bunch of designs printed on cardstock-style thick paper with perforation at the edge to make them easy to remove from the book. The art is composed of mostly square shapes, which have a number printed in the box so that you can match the sticker to it.

The sticker sheets are found in the back of the book with one full page of stickers per design that is printed in the upper corner, making it easy to identify which set goes with which image. The stickers include some flat and many glitter stickers, which add some Christmas sparkle. A great thing about the glitter stickers is that they are completely sealed, so no glitter gets all over the place.

The designs range in complexity, with some being more difficult to arrange than others with some having smaller sticker sizes than others. Each design can take some time, making this a great way to keep kids busy making art.

What I loved: This was a really fun activity. It is actually not as easy as it sounds to line up the stickers, and I really enjoyed that it takes some time and skill to do so (a great task for spatial development and fine motor skills). The resulting artwork is pretty and has great dimensionality. Doing this with an older toddler can be really fun with them doing the larger stickers, matching numbers, and helping to line up the stickers. It allows children to make really fantastic artwork with relatively less skill than drawing or painting such a design, and it includes stickers, which are top-notch to many little ones.

The range in designs also allows for many different skill levels to find some easy or difficult. For instance, the snowflake design requires some finesse in lining up the tiny stickers just right, and many of them are quite small. The Rudolph art is a little easier with many larger stickers. The stickers can be pulled off and replaced for children who want to get it just right (they can have a second and third chance if they want it without risk of messing up the paper).

Final verdict: Create lovely Christmas-themed and glittery artwork with this fun book that can keep children entertained for a long time! With all the Christmas classics, including Santa, Rudolph, a gingerbread house, and nutcracker, this is a great way to develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and celebrate the holidays and art.
