Marissa's love of candy finally caught up with her. A cavity was what she got! On her way to the dentist she notices something unusual, a man sitting on the sidewalk. This is not what Marissa is used to in the big city, where people are walking and running down the streets all day. Marissa watches the man while waiting in the dentist office and notices some people putting coins in the shoebox laid out in front of him. Once inside to see the dentist, she finds out the tooth has to come out. Marissa does something incredibly thoughtful and kind with her tooth. Read the book to find out what it is!

This book was so touching and sweet! I'm not quite sure my little ones understood the meaning right away, but I explained it to them. It's important that we take care of everyone around us, even if they are "unusual". Pick up this book today for a valuable lesson in humanity!
