Leprechaun in Late Winter (Magic Tree House #43)
Add a magical whistle that helps them see a hidden world. But in the process of using the whistle, Augusta is taken. Will they find her? Also will they escape the wrath of an angry faery king?
My former first grade students loved these stories. Now my own son enjoys these books. I was really excited to get a copy of both this book and the non-fiction research guide. Both books are perfect supplemental materials for teachers. Leprechaun in Late Winter continues the adventures of Jack and Annie but this time they travel to the 1800s Ireland in search of Augusta, who later would become Lady Gregory, an important figure in Irish history. I love how the author weaves in important facts with fantasy in such a way children want to learn more. The stories are fast paced and very fun.
My son loved the book too! A must add to anyone who enjoys the Magic Tree House books.
