Looking Like Me, by Walter Dean Myers, is a colorful and energetic book about a boys wonderful discovery of all the facets of his own personality.

One look in the mirror reveals that this boyJeremy, is so much more than just his name:  He is a brother, a son, a writer, and a dancer; he is a singer, a dreamer and an artist, too.  He is so many other wonderful things that he just has to share the wonder of his many layers with everyone he encounters.

This book is a celebration of life, of sharing, and of being uniqueand all these joyous discoveries are expertly captured in the colorful illustrations of Myers very own son, Christopher.

This one is a welcome addition to every childs library.
