It’s winter, and Wolf, Torak’s beloved pack-brother, has been captured by an unknown foe. In a desperate bid to rescue him, Torak and Renn must brave the frozen wilderness of the Far North.

As they battle for survival amid howling blizzards and the ever-present menace of the great white bear, their friendship is tested to the breaking point, and Torak is forced to get closer to his enemies than ever before. . . .

Soul Eater is a haunting story of loyalty and loss, a chilling portrayal of the nature of evil, and the next step in the perilous journey that began with Wolf Brother and Spirit Walker.

When Wolf is captured by the Soul Eaters, Torak and Renn race into the Icy Plains up north. Caught in a blizzard, they are rescued by the White Fox Clan. Given supplies and cloths, they continue with their quest in a skinboat. After many hours of paddling they finally reach their destination. Sealed in the cave, they must brave it out to find Wolf and escape.

This story is all about the trust and friendship between Torak, Renn and Wolf. This book is very clever and very beautifully written, I recommend it to all people who want a good great adventure.

Wolf is captured into the north. And Torak must get him back. They meet the White Fox Clan, who try to warn them from going farther north. In the end, they DO save Wolf, but at the end of the book, he is marked as a soul eater. He does not reveal this to anyone, not even Renn, his very good friend.

This was an epic adventure of friendship, trust, and debts. I'd recommend this book to anyone willing to take their time to read a great adventure! I felt sorry for Torak at the end.
