The Report Card
Nora`s tired of people obsessed with marks so she`s determined to fail on her report card. She brings home a collection of Ds and Cs in an attempt to rebel. She wants to show everyone and especially her friend, Stephen that other things are more important. Stephen`s always had trouble with his grades so Nora`s poor grades make him feel better about himself. But the truth is Nora is a genius. Will the truth about her smarts destroy her plan before she gets her message across?
I liked this book. I think everyone can relate to the pressure of marks- namely, getting the best marks. It`s a truly interesting book that I found incredibly enjoying.
You would never believe a girl who gets D's and C's is a genius but she is. In this book, a girl tries to dumb herself down from genius to stupidity to act and fit in as normal. When she goes a little too far with her shenanigans, she gets discovered and soon is placed in the limelight as a genius. I found this book to have a new twist to Frindle but still with a creative attitude that Andrew Clemens uses in every book he writes. Read it, it's fabulous!
