Scorpia has dogged Alex Rider for most of his life. They killed his parents, they did their best to con Alex into turning traitor, and they just keep coming back with more power. Now the world's most dangerous terrorist organization is playing with fire in the world's most combustible land: the Middle East. No one knows Scorpia like Alex. And no one knows how best to get to Alex like Scorpia. Until now.

The chases have never been more intense, the fights more treacherous, or the risks so perilous to mankind. And this time, Alex won't get away.

I didn't know what to expect of this book when I began, but I must say, I'm quite impressed. Horowitz used extreme adventure and suspense to write this well-structured book. Having read the previous books in the Alex Rider series, I thought this was one of the more exciting books Horowitz has written. I loved tagging along, learning more about Alex, his parentage, and his personality. This is a book I'd certainly recommend, even to a reluctant reader.

This book is almost ready to be made into a movie. It is action-packed and kept me reading until the last period of the last sentence of the book! This is my favorite of the Alex Rider series but the rest are phenomenal as well! It is a bit scary at times so you might want to find out a little about the book, before it's too late and you can't put it down:) Great book!

Out of all the Alex Rider books, I liked Scorpia the best. The excitement and power that was included in all of the Alex Rider books was doubled in Scorpia...the suspense that you feel of what is going to happen next, the way you see everything from Alex's eyes. If books bore you, I would definately suggest Scorpia, which is exiting and action-packed. But, of course, first you have to read the earlier books in the series!

I love this book. Alex has been unfairly treated by MI6. You can really identify with his sense of anger at the injustice. At first you want him to take a stand with MI6 but when you read on, you don't want him to do what scopia is trying to get him to do. It's really suspenseful. What will he do? What side will he choose? When he shoots at the glass mirror, you feel scared and a little torn. You can't believe he almost shot her. The ending is crazy. I was completely surprised at the shot.I couldn't wait until the next book.
