Well, it was okay. Not as good as I had expected, but I guess Magyk (the previous book) was so good and left me with a lot of cliffhangers is why I expected a lot of this book. Don't get me wrong. It was pretty good. But nothing new really happened. It was all a big goose chase, if you ask me. But I do learn more about the characters and I think now I can predict something about them and it'll be correct. I still read this, and I think it was good, but I was much more interested in Magyk.
In Flyte, the second book in the magical saga Angie Sage has conjured, Septimus Heap is reunited with his parents. Also being the seventh son of a seventh son, the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Marcia Overstrand, excepts him as her apprentice.
Simon Heap, Septimus Heap's brother is jealous because he wanted to be the apprentice. Thus, he joins DomDaniel, the old, evil ExtraOrdinary Wizard. Simon also learns the power of Flyte. Not just any old charm like the one Macia had given Septimus, which allows you to hover for a while, but the real actual thing. Flyte. It is an old charm, thought to be lost. Now the tables are turned. Will good or bad prevail?
