When Junie B. heads off for Hawaii with her mom and dad, she takes along presents from her teacher Mr. Scary: a real camera and a photo journal. Junie is now Room One's official photo journalist. When the time finnnnnnally arrives for their flight, the plane is full of cranky people who don't seem to appreciate Junie's enthusiasm and energy. Of course, the high jinx don't stop there. Junie B.'s photo-taking doesn't go that well when she gets stuck in an inner tube and voices her opinions (loudly). But it all adds up to what Junie calls "the time of my life."

This series is always entertaining; this latest book continues that tradition. Young readers will learn a bit about travel and Hawaii, also. Fun reading for ages 7-10.
