The sisters have finally gotten settled in at their grandmother's house. Puck (Yes, the Robin Goodfellow Puck) has gotten settled in too. They solve the crime of whose stealing Gepettos toys and now are forced by the law to go to school. Everything seems to be going fine until a mortal teacher turns up dead. The girls need to solve this new crime before someone else turns up dead.

This book is much darker than the previous book. It discusses racism (against fairy-tale creatures) and the lengths that some people will go to to gain back their freedom. It has a cliffhanger ending and I don't know if I can wait until May '06 for the next installment.
