The Never War (Pendragon #3)
Bobby and the Traveler from Cloral-Spader-have flumed to New York City, 1937, where they must uncover the evil Saint Dane's newest plot. But is Bobby ready for the difficult choices ahead?
This is my second favourite book in the series, and I loved it! This book was very interesting, because if Bobby hadn't done anything to the territory which was the main setting of this book (First Earth), then nothing abnormal would have happened. Yet, he came, thinking Saint Dane (the bad guy) might do something bad, when Bobby was the one completely endangering the territory by just being there trying to fix things that he thinks will help history. First Earth takes place on Earth in 1937, and Bobby thinks that by helping stop a ship from being destroyed, he can help all the people in the ship, but when he goes to Third Earth (Earth in 5000), he uses Third Earth's advanced technology to understand that by doing so would cause chaos in all three territories, because First Earth is the past, and history could be changed. In the end, even with the full knowledge that if he tried to save those people, all three Earth territories would be ruined, he almost saved the ship, but his friend Gunny helps him. Though they saved First Earth, Bobby feels really bad that he almost ruined all three Earth Territories.
This book was exciting and fast-paced, and I loved to turn every single page, to read every single letter. I would recommend this book to everyone!
There seems to be a big turning point that could happen, Bobby and Saint Dane are now on Earth but way back in time, before the second world war. Bobby thinks he must stop the second world war by stopping the explosion of the Hindenburg but how will that affect the future? He journeys between the three Earths to find out. Saint Dane is becoming more powerful and is now starting to play with Bobby's mind. Bobby finds a new traveler friend whom he can trust and Spader doesn't understand how his traveler powers work so Bobby must watch out for him, though he is a friend, he could cause some major trouble.
This book rocks. Bobby the Traveler now has to go to the territory 1st Earth. The Earth in the past. And must stop Saint Dane, and the Nazi's (there's a scary mix!!!) from overrunning the territory!
On Second Earth there is a big turning point that could happen. Saint Dane is now starting to play with Bobby mind. Bobby finds a new traveler friend who he trusts more. But Spader doesn't understand how his traveler powers work, and his mind goes crazy. Will Saint Dane take over First Earth, Second Earth, and Third Earth?
