A race against time in of all places, a retail store. A family of lizards are captured and sold in a pet store down in Texas. As if things couldn't get worse for the family, the mother is allergic to the clay lining in the tank. The store vet is concerned that her symptoms might spread and quarantines her. If she isn't better than the vet will have to put her to sleep.
Never fear, her three sons come to her rescue. Their journey hits nearly every pet in a pet store looking for ingredients for a cure.
Without giving to much away, their journey is exciting, fun, and tender.

The author did a very good job at presenting a quality book. First, the cover is terrific. Secondly, I could tell there was a lot thought going into the story, especially when I realized that there were actually two villians, and not one. I mean we are talking about a pet store, how much adventure can be in there? Well, after you read this book, you'll see what I'm talking about. Finally, the level of excitement. The 'lockdown' chapter kept me glued to the pages.

I highly recommend this book. It's cute, its original, and its fun.
