Who Ran My Underwear Up the Flagpole? (School Daze)Hot
It's football season at Plumstead Middle School, and everything is up in the air. Sunny has become a cheerleader--the first ever to wear a frown and beat up fans who refuse to cheer. Eddie has gone out for football to prove that he's grown up despite his superhero underwear--and to try to impress a certain cheerleader. Salem has become the football team's manager, and she's starting a new time-out tradition that the team will never forget. And Pickles is leading Plumstead's pathetic marching band...to a very unusual beat.
the book jerry spinelli is a funny book and where did he get plumstead middle school. i thought that was funny and the main character is a cheerleader and eddie has gone to be a football player but he still wears super hero underwear there is jus is alot of changes but this book is well written
It's football season at Plumsted Middle School, and Eddie is sure that the quickest way to popularity is by becoming a football player-- never mind that the team is pathetic, and so is he. Meanwhile, Sunny is the most violent cheerleader ever, Salem gets over her disappointment of not making the cheerleading squad by becoming the team mother figure, and Pickles is the only bright spot in a sadly small marching band.
In this second book of the "School Daze" series, Spinelli continues to develop the friendship among the four main characters, which is touching without being sentimental and almost always hilarious.
