Goodnight, Little Bunny
What I loved: This book has a really cool feature in that it uses photographs of a real bunny throughout. The rest of the images are illustrated, including the mouse and fox, but the photographs of the bunny really add something special. The story is interesting, allowing children to think of the cool skills bunnies, and they, have.
The writing can be dense on some of the pages, although printed clearly. This may make it too long for toddlers, who would prefer faster turning pages. It would work well for preschoolers and young elementary school aged readers.
What left me wanting more: Although Bunny gets out of danger, sensitive children might be frightened of the fox that bunny must escape. This is toned down by the book referring to it as only "naughty old fox," and it may go over some children's heads.
Final verdict: A cute story about a bunny, GOODNIGHT, LITTLE BUNNY explores cool basics about bunnies and features real photographs of a bunny that little ones will enjoy.
