THE GREAT EGGSCAPE stars a carton full of eggs who go on an adventure in the store. All but one. Shel would prefect to relax by himself than frolic through the store with the others. However, this time isn't like last time. Nobody returns at the time they're supposed to and Shel gets worried. He must find them before something bad happens!
Down the aisles, he discovers that his friends are hiding from him, so they must find each one. When all but one are found, they have to work together to find her. Thankfully, she leaves them a clue. At the end of the adventure, they all return back to the carton and Shel is happy he had so much fun with his friends. Next time, he's ready to frolic with his friends instead of being left behind at home.
THE GREAT EGGSCAPE is a children's book about friendship and the importance of having fun with them too. There are also stickers in the beginning of the book for children to decorate their Easter eggs with. I love the art style of the Good Egg series and the color of the books grab your attention right away. The eggs being colored is a fun Easter touch!
Final Verdict: I would recommend this to fans of friendship, adventure, and Easter stories!
