As hunters approach their home in the jungle, Mother Tiger and her cubs, Puli and Sera, must venture to find a new home away from danger. Together, they explore different homes, but the ones they find aren't suited for tigers. Some are too wet, some are too dry, and some are just downright unwelcoming. But with their mother's help, they may be able to find one that's just right.
With gentle text and stunning monochromatic illustrations, Jo Weaver reveals the wonder of nature, the excitement of discovery, and the strength of familial bonds.
LITTLE TIGERS is a story about two young tigers and their mom searching for a new safe place to live. The three work together until their somewhere perfect. Mother Tiger is very gentle and has a soothing voice throughout the story. Even when Puli and Sera's ideas aren't the best, Mother Tiger is still thankful for their input. I love how she guides Puli and Sera without showing her fear and is portrayed as a strong and able mother who cares about her children than anything.
Final Verdict: This story would be perfect for fans of family and tigers and their environments. The tone and illustrations are both soft which would make this book a good bedtime story.
